PATH’s Campaigns
Climate, Housing and Health
Climate, Housing and Health are all deeply interconnected. Our analysis is that our opportunity to best address climate change is at the state level, and that we also must insure that everyone is included in climate upgrades for us to have the level of impact we want. We are working with our state legislators and statewide departments (including housing, energy and environment) to make sure that we are addressing climate in ways that will work for everyone, and that will have the biggest impact. Please join our climate action team as we work together in the legislative session and strategize creative ways to implement climate solutions for all of our residents! Please check our Events Page for upcoming actions and events you can take part in!
We are also engaging in "Citizen Science" where we are measuring the effects of natural gas and the health and safety impacts it has in our communities. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Cynthia Marshall (cynthia@pathmaryland.org).
Affordable Housing
Affordable housing is the issue we hear most frequently from our members and residents in Howard County. We are working on several strategies to address affordable housing through county and state funding and legislation. Please check out our events page for upcoming events you can take part in!
