During the meeting, we made commitments to work with ACT and AIM on statewide campaigns this year and planned ways to build our power within our congregations.
2. Statewide Meeting Recap (Oct 22)
On Tuesday, October 22, 129 leaders from PATH, AIM, and ACT met on Zoom to commit to working together at the state level this year. During the meeting, we:
Voted to ratify our 2025 statewide legislative agenda on pre-K, tenants’ rights, housing production, and climate.
Gave our turnout commitments and prepared for our statewide action on November 17th.
Discussed name options for our Maryland alliance of PATH, AIM, and ACT. Stay tuned for updates!
3. Statewide Action (Nov 17)
We’re gearing up for our Statewide Action on Sunday, November 17th from 3:00–5:00 pm, at Wilde Lake Interfaith Center in Columbia!
Together as PATH, ACT, and AIM, we are bringing 500+ people to meet with our state legislators, Maryland Secretary of Housing, Comptroller, and more to put forth our agenda for the 2025 legislative session. We'll call on our state leaders to help us achieve our priorities, including:
Diverse, attainable housing options
Renters' rights

4. The Just Power Alliance
The Just Power Alliance is a new alliance of 9 power organizations, including PATH, which disaffiliated from the Industrial Areas Foundation and formally came together this year. We are excited to welcome the Alliance's new Executive Director, Jenny Choi, and to continue to collaborate with our sister organizations.
